Day 23: 1/27/08

Conditions: Killer groomed
Location: Boyne Mountain, MI

Highlights:

- The show was soft and chewy, and we got there at open so we had some good runs before the hill became a mess of push piles
- There were half as many people as yesterday and we did not wait in line at all
- The sun came out for about 5 minutes

Lowlights:

- From 8:30-9:00 we were forced to wait, apparently only season pass holders can ride the lifts before 9:00. There was literally a banner with Season Pass Holder’s Only prominently displayed. As the season pass holders skated by us, we silently wondered why we pay $50 per person twice a week to support such discrimination.
- The Country Day Ski team does not understand how to board a six person chair lift.

Après Ski:

We ate lunch at Pearson’s and drove home while listening to the MSU Men’s Basketball team beat U of M.
