Day 16: 1/4/08

Conditions: Packed powder
Location: Keystone, CO

Highlights:

- The two mile mogul run
- Dirk’s chairlift conversations with people who are “living his dream”

Lowlights:

- It was possibly our last day in Colorado for the year – barring a trip to A-Basin in late June.
- Flashbacks to the Day 14 tree run.

Après Ski:

We drove to Lincoln, Nebraska and arrived at the Fairfield Inn late at night. The receptionist gave us a quizzical look and asked us, “weren’t you two here last week?”

Days to go: 34

  1. Glad to hear that you made it out of CO before the big storm. Just wondering what "living the dream" is exactly?!?

  2. Steph, I now know I can attest to your impeccable documentarian abilities. Have you ever thought about radio? ;) I had a serious moment of depression this morning when, upon waking, I saw rain, dirty snow, and fog through a crack in our darkened curtains. It made me consider hopping back in the car for another 20-hour treck back to the highlands out West. My S.A.D. light is not cuttin' it.

Thanks again for everything. It's great to be featured in your 50 Days of Boarding!
